Do you have HIV or love someone that does?

It can be difficult at the beginning, especially if you’re alone. Many emotions take over: fear, anger, sadness, helplessness and many other emotions. KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

There are many people living with HIV in the Milwaukee area and the world leading normal healthy lives.  HIV is not the “death sentence.”  What’s most important is that you talk to someone who can give you help and support.

POZ  Spirit

POZ Spirit is a group for men who are HIV/AIDS infected, providing a safe, respectful and supportive environment.

POZ Spirit is where individuals have the opportunity to form friendships, while having the opportunity to network, share resources, while providing peer support and education, along with having discussions on any personal and relevant issues.

The group meets the FIRST SATURDAY of each month from 12:00pm to 1:30pm at Milwaukee Metropolitan Community Church, 1239 West Mineral Street, Milwaukee 53204.

POZ SPIRIT WILL BE ON SUMMER BREAK DURING THE MONTHS OF JUNE, JULY and AUGUST and return in SEPTEMBER

A light lunch is provided and an RSVP is requested by calling the church 414-383-1100 or sending an email to [email protected]
